What is a semi-permanent tattoo?
A semi-permanent tattoo is a design you put on with water instead of a needle. The colour develops on your skin over a day or two and then fades on its own in about 1–2 weeks. It is a way to try a tattoo, or wear one for an occasion, without the commitment.
How long does a semi-permanent tattoo last?
Most last about 1–2 weeks. The design looks faint at first, reaches its final colour in 24–48 hours, then fades gradually as your skin renews. It lasts longest on the forearm, inner wrist, chest and back, and shortest on hands and fingers, which get washed and rubbed more.

Are semi-permanent tattoos safe?
Do a patch test first: apply a small corner of a design to your inner arm and wait 24 hours. Don't use them on broken or irritated skin, near the eyes, or on children under 12. Stop if you notice itching or redness, and see a doctor if it continues. People with sensitive skin or allergies should be extra careful.
How to apply one
- Wash the area with soap and water and dry it fully.
- Cut out the design and tear open the clear film.
- Place the sticker on your skin, wet it thoroughly with a spray or wet towel, and press for about 10 seconds.
- Peel it off. Keep the area dry for 2 hours, and avoid rubbing for the first 24 hours.
- The colour reaches its final look in 24–48 hours.

Choosing a size and placement
Every design lists its real size in centimetres. As a guide: under 3 cm suits a finger, the wrist or behind the ear; 5–8 cm suits the forearm, ankle or collarbone; 10–15 cm suits the forearm, calf or ribs; the 18–22 cm armband and spine designs wrap the arm or run down the back; and the wide lower back and chest pieces are made for those spots.
How much do they cost in India?
Most small designs cost ₹399. Mid-size designs and armbands cost ₹449–₹499, and lower-back and chest pieces ₹549–₹599. We ship across India, and cash on delivery is available.
