Each tattoo takes about 10 minutes to put on. The colour appears gradually and reaches its final look in 24–48 hours. Follow these steps for the darkest, longest-lasting result.
Before you start
- Pick a spot with little hair and not much stretching. The forearm, inner wrist, chest and back hold best.
- Wash the skin with soap and water and dry it fully. Don't use lotion or oil.
- Let the skin dry completely before you start.
Putting it on
- Cut around the design, leaving a small border.
- Tear open the clear film.
- Place the water-side of the sticker on your skin and press gently.
- Wet the sticker thoroughly with a spray or a wet towel, and press for about 10 seconds.
- Peel the sticker off. A faint outline is normal.
The first 48 hours
- The colour appears gradually, starting after a few hours, and is at its final look in about 24–48 hours.
- Keep it dry for the first 2 hours. After that, avoid rubbing and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours.
- Don't scrub it or put creams on it while it develops.
Making it last
- Pat dry after showers instead of rubbing.
- Avoid chlorine pools and exfoliating scrubs.
- It fades on its own in 1–2 weeks as your skin renews.
Doing a patch test first? Apply a small corner of the design on your inner arm and wait 24 hours before using the full tattoo.
